It's been another hectic couple of weeks. I've been dealing with a tough situation with my Dad. He's been in the hospital for over a week with heart issues. He will be having open heart surgery sometime this week. Please keep him in your prayers (his name is Hugh Robbins).

Two weeks ago we were in Crawfordsville, Indiana for a concert with the group, Reflections at Christ United Methodist Church and we sang again the next morning for their morning worship service.

Yesterday afternoon we had dinner and a practice session with the guys for our new project that we will be recording in a couple weeks. We have ten great songs that we are learning and we're looking forward to singing these songs for you. We also had a new audition for the group.....we found that my my dog, Bella (pictured above) loves Southern gospel music. One of the songs has Jeff and I singing a bunch of "oohs" and "aahs". Every time we got to that part she started howling. She did a great job and we're thinking about taking her on the road with us. I want to thank Pam for all her hard work in putting on the dinner for The Royalheirs and their families.

Tickets for our concert with The Perrys are available. The Pix Theatre only seats 300 people and we're hoping to have a sell-out so get your tickets early.

Until next time,

Chuck

There's never a dull moment with The Royalheirs......We started out Saturday night in Sheridan at The First Congregational Church. We met some very nice people and they served us a wonderful soup supper afterwards. Sunday morning started with a bang (literally)! We started the bus and it jumped gears and hit Roy's wife, Sandy's car and pushed it into Roy's garage. There was not much damage to the car but the house was another story.
After the crash we headed to North Euclid Church of God in Bay City. We had a great service and were invited to Ray and Marge Albretsen's home for dinner. They had also invited other friends from the church and the fellowship was wonderful. It was such a beautiful day and Ray grilled chicken breasts and we had all sorts of dishes with it but my personal favorite was the chocolate ice cream pie. They made us feel so at home and we want to thank them so much for opening their home to us.
After lunch we headed to Owosso Church of Christ. We had a packed house and God really blessed the service. We also enjoyed meeting new friends at the meal after the concert. All three churches were new places for us to sing and we look forward to coming back again. I made it through my first weekend back (although I did sleep half the day away on Monday).
Blessings,
Chuck
