What a wonderful day we had yesterday. We left Flint at 8:00 a.m. and headed to Williamston. After driving for about 15 minutes or so and we were still able to see our breath, we stopped to see if we could fix the problem. Praise God, it was only a stuck valve and after beating on it a couple times, we had heat! We were so thankful it wasn't anything requiring a trip to the garage and Kory and Pam were sure glad to finally have some heat. Noah Hawks was all bundled up but his little nose looked like Rudolph.
The service at First Baptist in Williamston was great. We sang and the pastor preached and we had church. It was another first time visit for us and they seemed to receive us well. Pastor Don, his daughter and son took us all out to lunch at a beautiful country club. They had excellent food and the fellowship was great too. We also watched the Lions lose again (but that's nothing new).
Please keep Kory in your prayers. She was in the hospital last week and had surgery for kidney stones and is still recovering.
Don't forget this Saturday is The Royalheirs 14th Anniversary Concert with The Browders at Mayville United Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you all there!
Until next time,
Chuck
