Look who came to hear Daddy sing.....the very adorable Baby Lionel and Mommy, Jessica. It's hard to believe he's a month old already and this is the first time that Kory and I were able to get our hands on him. It's amazing how these kids with singing daddies are able to sleep right through all that loud music.
The guys only sang on Sunday. We were excited to be at a new church on Sunday morning, Crossroad United Methodist Church in Williamston, MI. They are a wonderful congregation and treated us very well. The evening concert was at First United Methodist in Flat Rock, MI. We were there in November and they were kind enough to ask us back for a community program they were having with the other churches in the Flat Rock area. Another great crowd that made us feel very welcome. I'm not really sure if the pastor really wanted to hear the guys sing again though because the first question he asked was, "Where is the little guy?" (meaning Noah Hawks) Our thanks go out to both churches!
And of course a long day of singing isn't complete unless we run into some nasty weather and roads on the way home. As we left Flat Rock, it was raining and all of a sudden we were being pelted with HUGE snowflakes. By the time we dropped Shem off in Hartland the front of the bus was covered in ice. But the Lord kept us safe again and since the guys don't sing again for a few weeks, we hope that Sunday's ride will be the last for this season with snow or ice.
We are still looking for any interested men with a heart for ministry and ability to sing the bass part to come and audition. If you or someone you know fits that description, please give Chuck a call at (810) 395-4977.
Blessings,
Pam
