Well, as you can see from the above picture taken at Forester Park on Saturday....there certainly is a change in our favorite baritone singer. Chuck has lost 146 lbs. since his surgery in November and is still losing. I don't think he would have tried to ride these bucking broncos when they sang at Forester Park last year. We thank God every day that he was able to have this life-changing and life-saving procedure done last fall.
The Royalheirs had two wonderful concerts this past weekend. They sang at Forester Park on Saturday night and we had our annual picnic before the concert which is always a good time of food and fellowship. Special thanks to Rev. Bill & Karen Smith (our booking agent), Ray & Ruth Gleasure and Kay & Jim Lacko. Our new bus (new to us at least) had some difficulties on the way to Port Sanilac. We somehow blew a hole in the airbag. The bus normally rides very smooth but when you lose an airbag, you lose all the cushion from the road. It was a bumpy ride home. Chuck and I took it to the garage tonight and hopefully it will back before they sing this weekend in Mio, West Branch and Houghton Lake. The second concert was at our (Chuck & I) home church, Gateway Assembly of God in Imlay City. It's always a pleasure to be able to have a concert at any of our home churches.
Please keep the Royalheirs in your prayers especially concerning our bus and finances. Also, please remember to give us a call if you haven't purchased your tickets for The Genesee Belle on July 14th.
Blessings,
Pam
