Bayshore Weekend....the time that everyone involved in Michigan gospel music (and other states too) look forward to every year. If you've never been to Bayshore, you need to make it a point to be there next year. Just talking about it doesn't do it justice. It was such a blessing to talk to everyone (old friends and new).

Brad from The Northmen especially touched us with his testimony about how God has worked in many ways in his life. It was also great fun having our product table next to Not Ashamed. The annual downpour didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirit and Jeff Hawks did a great job of not missing a beat when the power stopped in the middle of "Ready to Go".

The pictures above are a group shot of Jenny and Valerie White (their debut on the website) and me holding the newest ROYALHEIR, the very adorable, Noah Hawks. The other picture is of Chuck and Phil Parkin trying to dig up something (I'm not exactly sure what but I'm pretty sure they didn't find anything). Not to worry Jerry White was inspecting the holes to make sure they could pass the government standards. And last but not least is Jeff Hawks. I don't even know what to say about the picture except that you never quite know what he's going to do or say next.

Many thanks to all of you for your prayers during my current health issues.

Blessings,

Pam

Kirk Talley............The long awaited and much planned concert with Kirk Talley proved to be a wonderful success. Kirk was a true blessing to the congregation. Some of his faithful fans had traveled from neighboring states to be there. We were very pleased with the turnout and want to thank everyone who attended. We were also very thankful to have Chuck Raymond serve as our master of ceremonies. He did a great job. Many thanks to First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris for allowing us to have our concert in their beautiful sanctuary. Since this is Jeff "Twinkle Toes" Hawks' home church, we hope that after displaying his dance moves, he's still allowed back.

I hope my writing skills are better than my photographic skills. The only picture on my camera that was clear enough to post (the one I didn't take) is the one above with Kirk, Christy Rodocker and myself. I guess I should let someone else take the pictures. Hopefully, by next year when Kirk comes back I will have this camera mastered.

We hope to see you all at Bayshore and please keep The ROYALHEIRS in your prayers.

Blessings,

Pam

It's been a very busy (and very hot) summer so far for The ROYALHEIRS. (Their new summer shirts have been soaked more than once...lol) The Genesee Belle Boat Trip was another success and a lot of fun. This Saturday is the summer concert that features Kirk Talley and if you don't have tickets, don't worry.....you can still purchase them at the door for $15.00. If you haven't seen Kirk in concert, you need to come out because he is absolutely wonderful and will certainly be a blessing to all that attend.

The guys are working hard on their upcoming project and hope to start recording soon. The songs that they have "previewed" so far at different places have been well received. I'm sure you will be able to hear a few of the new songs at Bayshore this year. It's hard to believe that it's almost time for Bayshore already. Where did the summer go??

I also wanted to let you know about another new project that Chuck produced in honor of one of his best friends and singing partner, Duane Grimes. Chuck suprised him with it on the boat trip. He had no idea that Chuck had even been working on it. The title is "Duane Grimes - Through The Years" and it is comprised of some of the most requested songs that featured Duane when he was with The Calvarymen. Chuck got permission from Jim Glasco to rerecord these songs taking out all the static and scratchy noises that the old albums have. It was done with love for Duane and is a tribute that was long overdue. We have the cd's available and I hope you pick one up at one of our concerts.

Blessings,

Pam
